Navigating Rough Seas? Meet Your Captain.

Hi!

My name is Christian Glockner. I have several years of experience as member and chairman of the Works Council at a multinational tech company with a presence in the Netherlands.

During my time as chairman, our Works Council had to deal with several reorganisations. Together with fellow councillors, we worked on minimizing the impact and softening the blow these changes deliver to those affected by them, while carefully balancing this with the interests of the company.

We did not shy away from standing up and fighting for the rights of the Works Council when necessary, including successfully taking the company to court in order to get the process back on track.

When faced with a large reorganisation affecting hundreds of employees, we successfully negotiated a separation package that even external lawyers called impressive.

I know for a fact that other Works Councils, especially those in tech companies, are facing challenges with reorganisations - pressure from the company to conclude the process as quickly as possible, a lack of transparency, and everything under the cover of secrecy, preventing proper Works Council work.

After leaving my previous employer, I decided to share my experience, expertise and strategic thinking with Works Councils in tech companies who are dealing with reorganisations.

So if you need a captain to steer you through rough seas, get in touch today!
